The multiplayer mode is such a creative translation of the original game-true to the original but with extra flare. I want to start this review by commending the team who took such an iconic game and turned it into so much more. It’s still a great game to kill time and play in short bursts every now and then! Although these bugs are frustrating, I do understand the game just recently came out and I trust the developers to work on these glitches. There are a few other minor glitches in the game too. On one occasion, I tapped to start the minigame shuffle and nothing happened, yet a ticket was taken off anyways. I close the game to see if that would help and all progress is lost and I just wasted a ticket. The problem is when I’m in the third stage of minigames, I finish up the last one and nothing happens and the event doesn’t end. A particularly buggy section of the game is the minigame shuffle you have to pay in-game tickets to participate which is fine (they’re relatively easy to come by). In multiplayer, I’ve been seconds away from victory only for the game to glitch out and boot me to the main menu. My biggest gripe is the amount of bugs in the game. The gameplay and multiplayer of the game works really well and I enjoy the different modes. I was a massive fan of the first game and grew up with it and I was stoked to see a sequel. At first I was confused by the big changes, but after playing a bit, I get it now. The sword modes also change it up in a pretty fun way. Archery feels like you are playing a Zelda mini game where link goes to the shooting gallery with his bow, except with fruit. The archery mode is fantastic and it is one of the better archery vr games I have played. Part two is very different, so prepare for that,īut it is also very well done and – in my opinion – a lot of fun. I really liked how the first game was setup, you just click on the mode you want and then you are playing it. Try out the frosty ice bow or the retro pixel blade! I am a HUGE fan of the first Fruit Ninja VR. Line up rows of fruit for combos and land critical hits to raise your score! Collect unique Blades and Bows by completing challenges.
